Upgrade HTC Desire firmware with AOKP CM 10 Jellybean 4.1.1

This firmware ropes the latest jellybean 4.1.1 along google apps and the user interface match style of galaxy nexus comes with the most original form of jellybean 4.1.1. This firmware is not official version.

Requirements:

1. Back up your important data's such as SMS, Contacts, Call logs, Images APN Settings and etc.

2. The battery life of your device should not be less than 60%. to finish the update without turning your device off.

3. Be sure you turn off or unistall all security suites in your computer it may interrupt when the firmware update is proccesing.

4. Now enable USB Debugging mode in your Device, do this by going to settings>applications>development>USB debugging.

5. Check your device if it is rooted by the help of root checker app downloaded from google play store. Note: That this firmware can only be applied on the rooted phoens.

Now here are the step by step procedure/guide on how to Upgrade HTC Desire firmware with AOKP CM 10 Jellybean 4.1.1

1. First Download Jellybean 4.1.1 custom rom firmware package here and google apps package here.

2. After downloading, connect your Device to your computer using your USB cable and put the downloaded zip files in your device.

3. Disconnect your device from the computer.

4. Turn off your device to enter recovery mode.

5. To Enter recovery mode press volume down + power buttons together.

6. In recovery mode menu choose install zip from sd card then select choose zip from sd card and then select firmware package you have downloaded to your device.

7. Once firmware is applied select go back with the help of volume keys and power button to select reboot system now to reboot device in normal mode

8. Check if your firmware update is successful or not. Do this by going to Settings > about phone.
