Requirements:
1. Your Galaxy Note N7000 device must be rooted in order to apply this firmware.
2. Your device should also be international model.
3.You should not apply this update if your device is network locked or contract device.
4. Back up your important data's such as SMS, Contacts, Call logs, Images APN Settings and etc. ( Don't use KIES to back up data because it does not recognize the device in the custom rom firwamres)
5. Enable USB debugging go to settings > application > development > US debugging
6. The battery life of your device should not be less than 60%. to finish the update without turning your device off.
Now here are the step by step guide/procedure on How to Install/Update Galaxy Note N7000 with AOKP 4 Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware:
1. Download Root Checker app from google play store check whether device is rooted or not.
2. Then download ROM manager app from google play store. Be sure that your are not creating back up with the help of ROM manager it may brick the device completely.
3. Now Download AOKP Firmware package here to your computer.
4. Now after downloading, connect your device galaxy note to computer using USB cable and put the downloaded zip in your phone.
5. Disconnect now your phone and turn it off to enter recovery mode.
6. To enter recovery mode hold the voulme up button + home key button ( middle button) holding both keys simultaneously turn on the device On.
7. Now , in recovery mode select "wipe data / factory reset and also wipe cache partition.
8. Select also advanced and clear the Dalvik cache if you are on custom ROM firmware.
9. Then select install zip from sd card > choose zip from sd card and select now AOKP 4 Custom rom firmware package you put in your device.
10. It will take 4-5 minutes to apply update , and once finished it will land in recovery mode screen, just select go back and reboot system now to reboot device in normal mode.
Congratulations! You have installed successfully your Galaxy Note N7000 with AOKP 4 Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware. Enjoy!

Ohh men! Can't update my Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 as of the moment, I have to root it first. BDW, this is not an official Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware right? If so, does official Jelly Bean update needs to be rooted also?
