Note: After rooting sometimes you need to clear or wipe all data to get away with force close errors.
Requirements:
1. Back up your important data's such as SMS, Contacts, Call logs, Images APN Settings and etc.
2. Now navigate to path > settings > applications > development > and USB debugging then enable the USB Debugging
3. The battery life of your device should not be less than 50%. to finish flashing the kernel without turning your device off.
4. Also disable all antivirus or security suites in your device it may interrupt the update.
5. Also download and install samsung USB drivers and also the Newest version of KIES to your computer
Now here are the step by step guide/procedure on How to Root your device Samsung Galaxy s3 I9300 on XXDLIB 4.1.1 firmware:
1. Let's start, first download XXDLIB 4.1.1 package here and odin here to your computer.
2. After downloaded turn device off so that you can enter in download mode.
3. Now extract the odin zip file to get the executable odin file and the XXDLIB package to get the tar file.
4. Open Odin in your computer.
5. Now to enter download mode in galaxy s3 press volume down rocker key and power button together while the device is off. ( Once the device is turn on normal mode try again to enter to download mode)
6. Click now "PDA" and select "CF-root-sgs3-v6.4.tar" and click start.
7. Upon clicking start it will take you 2 to 3 minutes to root the device.
8. Once your device is rotted it will be rebooted. And when you see home screen you will need to disconnect the device to your computer.
Note: If device stuck up in welcome home screen or gets into boot loop sequence just reinsert the battery and do the above steps again.
So Congratulations! now you have successfully rooted your device!
