We often hear from time to time about android being the worst platform in terms of its security because of its rife with malware. Apps that steal personal information and call into expensive premium numbers have purportedly proliferated even the official app repositories at one time or another. Also remember Malware is widespread mostly in a 3rd party app marketplaces.
